Availablity changes daily so best to call us and discuss what you are seeking and getting set up for your first appointment.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! We are all in network with most major insurances- Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield,  Cigna, Connecticare, United Behavioral Healthcare, Medicare, Optum, Tricare, and Husky Health of CT. Feel free to reach out to us at info@advancedtreatmentsolutions.net if you don't see your insurance listed here as you may have an off shoot of one of these above plans which we can look up for you.

Out of network benefits are also accepted. We can submit to your carrier as a courtesy if you prefer or issue you an itemized superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Sessions may be covered in full or part by your insurance company based on your benefits.

It is best to check your insurance coverage prior to the first appointment by referring to the phone number on the back of the insurance card.

Do you take credit cards?

Yes! We do take all major credit cards along with cash and checks. We can also accept HSA accounts as payment to cover co-pays or sessions.

What is your cancellation policy?

In order for therapy to be effective to reach your goals, a committment has to be made by both the therapist and the client. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice and require a credit card on file to cover any late cancelations with less than 24 hours notice. At the first session, the cancellation policy will be discussed in detail.

What should I expect at my first appointment?

At the first session we complete necessary paperwork, discuss confidentiality and begin to hear your story. A packet will be emailed with your approval with some of the necessary paperwork to reduce time to paperwork at the first session. Sessions 2-4 will focus on hearing your story and developing an individualed treatment plan for the sessions and expected outcomes.
